By signing up for the electronic delivery program, you will receive
Northern Funds and/or Northern Trust e-Documents electronically. E-Documents
may include fund prospectuses/supplements, annual and semiannual reports,
other periodic reports, proxy materials, account statements, transaction
confirmations, tax documents, and privacy and other notices. The electronic
delivery may be by e-mail or through a hyperlink to a Northern Funds
or Northern Trust Web site. We will notify you by e-mail when a document
is available electronically, and you will no longer receive paper
versions of these documents through the U.S. Postal system.
At any time after you enroll, you may contact us by phone, e-mail
or in writing to obtain, without charge, a paper copy of any document,
update your e-mail address or other information, or cancel your
enrollment in the program. Your enrollment in the program will be
effective until it is canceled by you or by us.

By enrolling in the program, you consent to the electronic delivery
of documents for all your accounts that are registered under your
Social Security or Taxpayer Identification Number (or for which
you serve as custodian, including accounts established under the
Uniform Gift to Minors Act or Uniform Transfer to Minors Act and
education savings accounts.) This may also include any trust accounts
held with Northern Trust that are invested in Northern Funds. You
also consent to electronic householding and consolidation of any
documents that may be legally householded and consolidated. Northern
Funds documents will be electronically householded to those members
of your household who have each enrolled in the program and who
use the same e-mail address. Members of your household with separate
accounts who do not enroll in the program will continue to
receive paper versions of all documents by mail.

You will also need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access our PDF files,
which you may obtain free of charge at Adobe.com.
If these systems requirements significantly change, we may ask you
to re-consent to electronic delivery.
If an e-mail notification sent to you is returned to us as undeliverable,
we will resend the e-mail twice more within a 24-hour period. If
the notification remains undeliverable after the third attempt,
we will send you notification that we re canceling your e-Delivery
service, and we will begin to send you all documents by mail beginning
with the next document. You would then need to sign up for e-Delivery
again to receive the documents electronically.
By signing up for Northern Trust’s and/or Northern Funds’
electronic delivery program, you agree that:
You understand and accept the terms and conditions of the program
set forth above;
You will provide and maintain a valid e-mail address and if
that address changes, you will notify us immediately;
You have access to any computer hardware and software described
above; and
You have full authority to act on behalf of any joint owner
or co-trustee on your accounts and that each such person has full
authority to act individually in all matters relating to this
electronic service.
The e-Delivery service is provided by Broadridge, at
the request of Northern Funds. The information they obtain is considered
confidential, and is used only to provide the services that Northern
Funds has asked them to perform. This includes the mailing of fund
communications, such as prospectuses, annual and semiannual reports
and proxies. Broadridge maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards
to protect your personal information. Northern Funds' privacy
policy includes more about the sharing of information with third-party
service providers.
